This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 10

Favorite Challenge Day

My Favorite Challenge Day was Day 3 – Creating a Vision for the Future . The last time I did this exercise with Natalie (during her 30 Day Blog Challenge a few years ago) was the first time I had ever been able to visualize my perfect day in such intense detail. It was so inspiring that I printed a copy of that blog post and it has been the cover of my yearly planner ever since.

There have been many changes in my life and in my goals for my business so the timing was perfect to do this exercise again. And now I can do the same thing… make it into a cover for my planner so I see it every day and can use it to guide my progress, kind of like a north star.

Visualizing my perfect day in vivid detail like this really gets me excited about it. And, as the quote above says “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

Biggest Takeaway and Important Experience

The most important thing about this challenge for me is something I discussed on Day 7. My goal since returning to work a couple months ago has been to routinely take imperfect action and get more and more comfortable doing so. This challenge was a daily exercise in imperfect action and, as a recovering perfectionist, very beneficial to me.

Next Step

Now that Kai is home (yes, the puppy finally has a name!!) my next steps for making my freedom plan a reality is to determine a new schedule that works for the two of us. It needs to be one that maximizes work output and quality time with this new little guy…

Over to YOU
